Michael is a native of New Orleans Louisiana but has called Washington home since retiring from the military wherein he served our country for 20 years. Upon retiring from the military, he wanted to establish a career that would continue to allow him to serve his local community and provide healing care as a means to do it. He has traveled the world in Europe and Asia including deployments to the Middle East. Michael is married with three children and enjoys cajun cuisine, football and cooking as a hobby. Michael is trained in all of the traditional massage techniques (Swedish, Sports, Pregnancy and Deep Tissue). He has trained to work on individuals going through cancer treatment. He is also credentialed in Foot Reflexology and is excited to bring this healing modality into the spa for his patrons.
Michael also has the ability and techniques to combine stretching into his massage sessions, assisting along with the client to get better muscle release and strength. His method of transforming different modalities to meet each specific client's health and body needs is helpful and insightful, to say the least.

Foot reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet using hands, fingers, or specialized tools. The theory behind reflexology is that these points correspond to different organs, glands, and other parts of the body. By stimulating these points, reflexology practitioners believe that they can help to restore balance and promote healing throughout the body.
